Profile Module

Profile Modules (6 credits) are designed to introduce the students into a variety of current microbiological fields. They are block courses for 6 to 12 students focussing on a selected theme over two weeks, and are accompanied by a seminar and/or an introductory lecture. Every student will have to finish three profile modules.

Learning targets: The students know modern areas of microbiological research in practice and theory. They are able to use the methods for the solution of scientific and applied problems. They know recent scientific literature on the themes studied, and can present and discuss them critically. They can write a scientific protocol.
