Conclusion
Even with 10 000 bacteria on a square centimeter, the skin looks hardly contaminated. If one assumes a bacterial size of 1 µm x 0.5 µm, 200 million cells would find place side by side (not regarding the many clefts and wrinkles in our skin). This is comparable to a stadion with 80 000 seats, four of which are occupied, only.
