Saline Microsafari
At the extreme salt concentrations in salines microorganisms become the dominating organisms. Although several adaptations are required for surviving high salinities, a variety of forms has developed. We are going to present salt-loving (halophilic) communities and microorganisms in saltern evaporation and crystallizer ponds on a little 'Saline Microsafari'.
